There are various behaviors in dogs that may benefit from modification through training and behavior management techniques. Here are some common examples: Leash Reactivity: Dogs that bark, lunge, or pull on the leash when encountering other dogs, people, or stimuli. Aggression: This can include aggression towards people, other dogs, or specific triggers such as resource guarding (food, toys, etc.). Fearfulness: Dogs that exhibit fear or anxiety towards specific situations, noises, people, or objects. Excessive Barking: Dogs that bark excessively in response to stimuli, such as strangers approaching the home, noises, or other dogs. Jumping Up: Dogs that jump on people, whether out of excitement, attention-seeking, or greeting behavior. Destructive Chewing: Dogs that chew on furniture, shoes, or other items inappropriately, often due to boredom, anxiety, or lack of appropriate outlets for chewing. Separation Anxiety: Dogs that exhibit distress or destructive behavior when left alone, often accompanied by vocalization, pacing, or elimination indoors. House Training Issues: Dogs that have difficulty with or have not yet mastered appropriate elimination habits indoors or outdoors. Cancellation Policy
Booking and Scheduling: To request a booking, please use our online booking system directly. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For any questions or concerns, please contact us via email using the Contact button on our homepage. Confirmation and Changes: We will confirm your appointment within 24 hours of your booking request. Changes to appointments may be necessary based on customer or provider availability and will be communicated promptly. Service Area and Mileage: Solid Step provides services at the client's home in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Clients are responsible for paying mileage outside of Indianapolis at a rate of $0.70 per mile. The final booking cost, including any applicable mileage charges, will be confirmed prior to the appointment. Payment Policy: Payment for services must be made in full 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking. Invoice will be sent via your email with instructions on payments accepted. Please make use of any loyalty bones (points) that you may have while requesting the appointment. Payment plans may be available, contact us for more details. We offer a discount on services if clients permit Solid Step to take photos of their pet during training sessions. These photos may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media, or other marketing Liability Disclaimer: Please be advised that Solid Step assumes no liability for any incidents, accidents, or injuries that may occur during our training sessions. Clients are responsible for their pet's behavior and any consequences thereof during and after training sessions. Solid Step recommends that clients have appropriate insurance coverage for their pets. Additional Policies: Solid Step reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases where the safety of our staff or the animal is compromised. We prioritize positive reinforcement training methods and expect clients to treat our trainers with respect and courtesy. Privacy Policy: Client information and session details are kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing our services. Please note that recording of sessions is not permitted without prior consent from Solid Step. This is to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of our training methods and client interactions.
